Once your offer is accepted, the preliminary sale agreement (compromis de vente) is signed, usually at the notary's office. It sets out the terms of the transaction and any conditions precedent, in particular securing your financing.

5. Financing and the cooling-off period

You have a legal ten-day cooling-off period from the signing of the agreement. This is also when your financing application is arranged, where applicable.

6. Signing the deed of sale

The sale is completed with the signing of the authenticated deed (acte authentique) at the notary's office, where you receive the keys. Our team remains by your side until this stage, and beyond, through our concierge and property management services.
